In 1875, Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet founded Manufacture Audemars Piguet. To mark the 130 th anniversary, Audemars Piguet organised a special evening and invited friends and colleagues to relive the tale of an exceptional brand.
On April 6th, 2005, Jasmine Audemars, President of the Board of Directors, and Georges-Henri Meylan, Chief Executive Officer of the Manufacture Audemars Piguet, gathered colleagues and friends at the InterContinental Hotel in Geneva for a gala dinner. In a series of wonderfully orchestrated scenes, dancers from the Rudra Béjart Studio-School in Lausanne portrayed the brand’s key values: tradition, excellence and daring.
And for the last act of this magical evening, Audemars Piguet ambassador and rising singing star Anggun, the unforgettable performer of Snow on the Sahara,

perfectly embodied the femininity and beauty reflected in the AP women’s collection. The presence of Michelle Yeoh, to whom Audemars Piguet is honoured to lend its name, was also a noteworthy addition to the guest list. The Asian actress first delighted the public in her role as a James Bond girl in Tomorrow Never Dies and later in the very poetic Hidden Tiger, Crouching Dragon. She now wears Audemars Piguet models with the elegance and charm her admirers have come to expect.
